Description
Secnidazole is used to treat vaginal infection (vaginosis) caused by bacteria in adult women and trichomoniasis (an infection of the sex organs in men or women caused by protozoa). Secnidazole belongs to the class of medicines known as antibiotics. It works by killing bacteria or preventing their growth.
